A year ago today, New Yorkers lost their beloved Governor Andrew Cuomo, when he was forced out of office after a series of ridiculous false allegations of misconduct. I wept as I watched his resignation speech. My respect and admiration for him as a political leader is like that of JFK or FDR.
When I see him with his three beautiful daughters, he reminds me so much of my own dear father and how he was always so proud to introduce me as his daughter. Andrew Cuomo is a good and decent man, a man of deep faith, a man who loves his family with all his heart and soul, who has devoted his life to public service, and he doesn’t deserve any of the abuse and slander that has been heaped upon him these past two years. I pray for him and his lovely family every day. ![]()
I wrote this piece in support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and also in honour of my own dear, late father. ![]()
